2009 Dom Pérignon, Brut

Named after the Benedictine monk who brought many advancements to Champagne, Dom Pérignon has proven to be one of the best Champagnes in the world. Each vintage is a creation, singular and unique, that expresses both the character of the year, and the character of Dom Pérignon.  The 2009 vintage brought a lot of ripe fruit, which contributed to a rich and lush wine.  The nose brings notes of guava, honeycrisp apple, nectarine, and tart grapefruit zest.  Those flavors continue through the palate with lively effervescent bubbles.  One of our favorite vintages!
